Junction boxes
The junction box is a function of the summing board, the connection between the groups of strain gauges, to form the resulting weight signal. The junction box is part of the electronic scales and weight-dosing systems, also performs a very important function - it is the alignment of the angular loads, regardless of the location of the load on the load receptor.
In perfect condition, for example, strain gauge truck scales, no matter where the control load is placed on the load platform, should indicate the same weight reading - the weight of the control weight. But a number of factors, such as poor-quality production of the foundation, assembly of a composite platform, in the process of operating the scales - subsidence of the soil, etc., leads to the fact that the load receptor (platform) - distributes the load unevenly across all strain gauges. Consequently, as a result of this, part of the strain gauges perceives a large load, while others remain underloaded, which leads to an uneven distribution of weight.
