Stacker crane with scales

The 2BDU...BN series stacker crane with scale consists of a stacker crane (already owned by the customer) to which a weighing system is delivered. Stacker cranes with scales have become a practical and indispensable solution in logistics 4.0, as they are the ideal addition to increase efficiency in warehouses with a high flow of movements, where multi-tier and multi-row racks predominate.

The bridge stacker crane with scales moves along the aisle between the racks, is able to take cargo on special pallets or in boxes, weigh and move it both vertically and horizontally from one place to another. The weighing system is easily installed in the structure of the stacker crane without changing its design features, since it does not require modification of the stacker crane, and it increases the structure by only 90 mm. This solution is extremely cost-effective when it comes to upgrading both existing and new rack systems.

Reducing the time between receiving an order and preparing it is one of the main problems faced by modern logistics. Thanks to the weighing system, it is possible to organize an automated storage system that works according to the method of picking orders "goods to person". Instead of the operator performing several processes and transportations, a stacker crane with scales allows you to weigh the required amount of goods from different levels or racks and deliver them to the picking department according to the received order.
