Datalogic introduced the new Skorpio TSD, which is a secure version of the mobile computer (IP64 protection class) with a high-performance processor, Windows platform, large memory and VGA Touch Screen color display for a wide range of applications (commerce, warehouses, industry). This TSD is supplied with a laser scanner designed to read 1D barcodes. The reading of the barcode is confirmed by the appearance of a bright green spot. A wide range of communication options at this terminal provides both wired (RS232 and USB, and wireless communication via Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b protocols.) The Skorpio comes with a protected 38-key keypad.Data Logic Datalogic Skorpio architectureis based on the fast Intel processor of the X-Scale series paired with the Windows CE 5.0 operating system.
