Model 220 (Tedea-Huntleigh) is a low-profile flexible annular load cell designed for heavy-duty scales, including wagon scales, platform scales for bunkers and heavy loads, as well as for measuring forces. Due to its small size combined with high precision and low price, it is ideally suited for modern low-profile structures, both in anticipated use and in processes requiring weighing. This exact load cell is approved by the OIML R60 4000 divisions. It is additionally adopted by the Eex ia IIC T6 for use in a hazardous environment. In combination with mounting accessories manufactured by Tedea-huntleigh, this strain gauge creates a simple, accurate and reliable weighing system. Two additional signal wires transmit information about the voltage reaching the strain gauges. This voltage is applied to the corresponding electrodes; thus, full compensation of the changes in the resistance of the terminals resulting from temperature variations and cable stretching is ensured.
