Gastronorm containers made of polycarbonate are designed for storage, transportation and display of products. Plastic gastronomic containers are available in transparent and black. Transparent ones are much better for displaying products. Food grade plastic does not come into contact with food, so storing food in such containers does not affect its beneficial properties in any way. To prevent the food from getting weathered and not losing its attractiveness, the trays can be covered with transparent lids. Polycarbonate gastronomic containers are suitable for use in microwave ovens. They do not crack or wrinkle, and are significantly lighter in weight than stainless steel gastronorm containers. The main characteristics of polycarbonate gastronorm containers:

• durable, resistant to impact and mechanical damage;
• lighter in weight than stainless steel containers;
• working temperature of gastronorm containers: 40-99оС;
• can be used to heat food in microwave ovens;
• food retains its beneficial properties, taste and aroma;
• the container does not absorb odor, can be easily washed by hand or in the dishwasher;
• meet the international standard EN631-1. -can be used to freeze food!
