The communication program is used to receive and save data from the balance via the RS-232 (or USB) computer serial port or Ethernet network and is designed to work with AXIS scales. This allows you to zero, calibrate, read the measurement results and transfer data from the balance. The program allows you to view and save the weighing results in a text file, which can then be downloaded to another program, such as a spreadsheet, for further processing.
Two operating modes are available:
- tracking balance display in display view
- setting all the data sent from the balance (including reports of special functions) in the window view mode
The program works with all standard AXIS scales equipped with the LONG protocol.
If the computer does not have an RS232C interface, you must have an additional active RS232C-USB adapter (available at computer stores).
If the scale and computer have a USB interface, a Type B USB cable is required.
USB drivers in Windows 7 and later load automatically.
